Henry's Mare's Leg lever action pistol design is a modern production version of a classic design that was used by Steve McQueen on the classic western series "Wanted: Dead or Alive". This pistol was a cut down modified lever action rifle which could be holstered like a pistol while also being able to fire at the speed of a lever action rifle. Just like all Henry rifles, the Mare's Leg utilizes a beautiful American Walnut stock and forearm, and the Mare's Leg also includes a large loop lever which makes it easier to cycle the action even while wearing gloves. Additionally, this lever action pistol includes a side loading gate which allows you to load rounds via the standard magazine tube or top off the gun using the side gate. Henry offers the Big Boy Mare's Leg Side Gate in .44 Magnum, .357 Magnum, and .45 Colt so there's sure to be a flavor for you.
