Simply place the heel of the knife perpendicular to the work surface. Carefully draw the knife blade along the rod in a slicing motion to tip of the blade. Repeat with the other side of the blade 10-15 times. To polish turn over the Super Micro-X and use the fine ceramic rods (white) in the same way.
