The 509 Compact Tactical features a 4.32" Threaded barrel along with the FN Low Profile Optics Mounting System that is compatible with most of the popular micro red dot pistol optics on the market today. Additionally the sights are built to the right height for a perfect co-witness with your optic guaranteeing the ultimate in precision shot placement. Like the 509 before it, the 509 Compact Tactical has fully ambidextrous controls, a load chamber indicator, enhanced front/rear cocking serrations and no safety to get in the way. The ergonomic polymer frame is resilient enough to stand up to the worst conditions and interchangeable back straps ensure the perfect fit for a positive grip.
